Thursday, August 23, 2001 at 8:00 A.M.- We will be helping with Preview Move-in. All of you who can come PLEASE do, even if it is for only an hour or two. We will meet in front of Lucille Clement Dormitory at 8 A.M. Move-in is expected to last until noon or 1 P.M. This is a great way of promoting APhiO before rush. We also hope for there with paint pens to write on our car windows "Why Not" and "Rush APhiO." "Why Not" shirts will be distributed at this time, also for us to wear. Alaina Hagy, our new rush chair, will have more info on this event coming soon.

For August 27th to 31st, we have the Post Office reserved, from 10AM to 2 PM to provide info for rushees. We need everyone who can work the booth, even if it's for a few hours. Literature from the national office will be distributed at this time.

Side Walk Chalking is also this first week of the semester, August 27th to the 31st.

The Info Meeting will be held September 4th, 2001, 8 to 9:30 PM in the East Tennesseean Room.

The Ampitheater is reserved for September 4th, 10 AM to 2 PM for the "Why Not" carnival. Stephen Hendrix will DJ and we'll be handing out, hopefully, popcorn, Pal's iced tea, and APhiO pens.

Induction is Sunday, September 9, 3-4 PM in the East Tennesseean Room. Remember this is a mandatory event so mark your calenders now and arrange your work schedule early.
